About the infamous sign photographed (click the pic to big up) during the latest organized teabagger tantrum (via Think Progress)...
You can't argue with a sick mind, let alone the rampant sickness of thousands of minds feeding on each other's myths and delusions in a horrible circus of ignorance, fear and hate.
That is, there is no reasoning with these people. By now their inability to acknowledge, let alone consider, facts and stuff is, or should be, a given.
And yet I'll confess that I still experience just a vestige of surprise, or perhaps wonder, that the angry right is going full-on unhinged bonkers over what are essentially piecemeal, moderate proposals to change the nation's health care system. Even if reform was implemented in the most aggressive manner currently on the table in Washington, the impact of the legislation would go largely if not wholly unnoticed by many and probably most Americans, and the the United States would still have the most profit-driven health care system in the developed world.
Maybe the Democrats should just say to hell with it, quit screwing around and extend Medicare to the whole damned population. What's the right going to do? Accuse Obama and the Democrats of being socialists and Nazis hell-bent on a government takeover of health care?
You have no idea what you are speaking of.

Gleaner,
Ever feel like it is a discussion of mineral extraction fees all over again? Same hopes and aspirations and the same feeling you'll go home alone?
Dachau? I say cut all of these people that are receiving government health care, OFF! Statics tell us 53% of these protesters have government health care. I'm all for letting them opt out and finding health care on their own.
Reid! Berkley! Titus! Ensign! Heller! END the anti-trust protection of the health care insurance industry and let the free market GO!
Tito, please fill us in on the Gleaners errors!

I keep trying on my own blog to chip away at the lies, misrepresentations, character assasination, and cheesy draping of tea bagger nuttiness wrapped in the flag from WalMart. But it seems so hopeless.
That's why it is so damn puzzling why the Dems don't just throw caution out the window and go for it.
Full on Universal Healthcare. Medicare for all... with a built in guarantee for nosejobs and facelifts for illegals.
What have they got to loose? These crazies would be outraged with whatever was proposed.
They've made a whole political part of sheer, ignorance based outrage.
Sigh.

Medicare for all!
Long ago, Senator Daniel Moynihan suggested that the simplest way to achieve universal coverage would be to amend the original bill that created Medicare. How? With the following single sentence:
"The Medicare Bill is amended by deleting the phrase 'age 65 or older' everywhere it appears."
Isn't this a lot simpler than having a 1,000- page bill written by lobbyists and read by almost nobody?

I watched the Rachel Maddow Show on MSNBC and she related that while this stupidity she organized along with ClusterFox News was going on, another of Michelle Baughman's staffers quit. Basically saying they had enough of her idiocy.
From what I understand, she has achieved an appropriate nickname by those around her: Captain Crazy.
Captain Crazy and her Legions of Teabag Undead battling Doctor DoomHealth and his Public Option Hellhounds of Death!
Sounds like some Marvel comic book superhero or something. Sheesh. I better shut up. I don't want to give Mr. Stan Lee any new ideas....

The first word that came to mind when I saw that picture -- despicable.
Why are these people so afraid of having a small group of Americans -- who can't otherwise get health insurance -- being covered by a plan that is managed like the Medicare system?
WHY ARE THEY SO SCARED?????

Dachau? Really?
