Looks like poor little rich boy John Ensign may have been tipped off by Fox News personality and fellow holy roller Rick Santorum after all, judging from one of several hilarious e-mails obtained by Jon Ralston.
Perhaps now Santorum will be so kind as to "dignify that question."
Meantime, e-mails between cuckold Doug Hampton and long-time Ensign handler and Karl Rove wannabe Little Mikey Slanker indicate that Little Mikey did so know about Ensign's affair while Ensign was chairing the NRSC and while Mikey was its executive director -- Slanker's prior suggestions to the contrary notwithstanding.
Yes, anybody who witnessed the campaigns of Ensign or former GOP Congressman Jon Porter over the last several years already knew Slanker's a scuz, so whatever the ramifications of this latest revelation for the ever-widening circle of beltway apparatchiks, politicians and hangers-on who are getting sucked into the vortex of the Ensign storm, the fact that Slanker wasn't on the up and up should surprise exactly no one.
What is mildly surprising is the veritable oodles of Goddy McGod stuff in the exchange between Mikey and Hampton as well as a missive from Slanker's wife and bidness partner, Lindsey, to Cindy Hampton. For instance, did you know that the Slankers political firm, November, Inc., is not just another slimy Republican machine put together to play cynical attack-dog politics and devise sleazy messaging that knowingly distorts the character of political opponents? No. Why, according to Mikey, "we believe that God has put us in this place to help and love..."
Good to know, good to know... without that powerful context, when reading the emails, someone might get the impression that the Slankers are just trying to talk down these Hampton simpletons before they do something crazy.
Ah, good times.
Let's just hope that other people who might fear that this scandal could somehow seep into their worlds -- a category that by now probably includes every registered Republican who has ever lived, worked or played in the Washington D.C. greater metropolitan area -- continues to sit on their hands and let Ensign keep being a senator. Because when Ensign and Slanker team up -- together again! -- to run a reelection campaign in 2012, the good times will be even better.
Maybe the swordsman shares in the funnymentalust for Sarah, Sarah.

Johnny Casino really is clueless. Does he really think he can get away with all of this just 'cuz Goddy McGod "chose him to be great"? Is he delusional, narcissistic, or both?

Knowing what we now know, we now know that the Republican senators knew what Ensign was doing last Summer and before and that long term never ending infidelity of his may be why his fellow Republican Senators didn't donate any money to help him in his role as chair of the NRSC.

I really hope voters wake up in '12 and see whatta useless, dishonest and morally bankrupt POS Hairdo is. At least we won't have to be sickened by the RJ's apologist editorials for this scumbag any longer -- think of how great that will be!

Sen. John Ensign, R-Nev., said Tuesday he was joining the majority of his party in voting "no," saying she hadn't given enough assurances about her position on the Second Amendment right to keep and bear arms. During her confirmation hearings, Sotomayor refused to say the amendment limited state as well as federal actions — a question on which the high court has yet to rule.
It is not surprising that Senator John Ensign the morally challenged champion of the Party of No is opposing the nomination of Judge Sotomayor. It is even more disingenuous that this above stated reason is the basis for Ensign to oppose Judge Sotomayor. To comment on this particular position because it is an issue to yet go before the Court. It would be improper for Judge Sotomayor to state her position. But we know that our Senator is ethically challenged and grasps at excuses to support his party of no. I am asking that you contact his office in Washington D.C. 202-224 6244 and Las Vegas 388-6605and indicate that you do not support his decision to oppose Judge Sotomayor. If you are so inclined you can also say you support that his financial dealings regarding his affair needs to be investigated. A few weeks ago I indicated to his office that I believed he should resign because it disturbed me that his internal poll indicated that people believed he should not resign.

The facts: Of course Slanker knew! His nose is so up Ensign's ass, it would be impossible for him to not know! The real question is will Slanker admit he knows of any others...???
Other facts: Voting against Sotomayor may be the douchiest vote by a Nevada Senator in the history of our fine State. I'll have to go back and check for sure.
If you Google "douchiest Nevada and Senator" there are a lot of hits....
