Last week I suggested that if Clark County Commission Chairman Rory Reid were to criticize Assembly Speaker Barbara Buckley for pushing a broad-based business tax, it might be a sure way for Reid the Younger to lose a Democratic primary for governor.
Let's say I'm right -- yes, yes, most amusing but please stop laughing now and play along just for the nonce.
Would that mean that if Reid criticized Buckley (and friends) for failing to push a broad-based business tax, it might be a sure way for him to win a Democratic primary?
(I know. But come on, you've got to admit it's a nice try).
Look, the financial situation is easy. All we have to do is eliminate health, human services and those pesky high-fallutin' pro-fess-ers, buy everybody a Glock and let nature take its course.

That sounds good as long as they don't pay for the Glocks by raising the sales tax.

Nice display of friends for Barbara. Looks as though her colleagues are definitely behind her. Also nice to see it is mostly Nevadans who are supporting her.
