Now we learn that Sen. Hairdo McWedgeshot's commitment to stigmatizing out-of-wedlock births has also failed miserably.

...and, John Ensign took in $9,250 in campaign contributions ("retention bonus"), from the AIG PAC during 2006/06. Talk about a legislatwhore!

If Ensign is really against out-of-wedlock births, he should take the floor of the Senate and start denouncing Bristol Palin and her love child.

Ensign is trying to speak to right wing "base". That is fine if he thinks it will help him. It probably will with that crowd.
What Ensign and his base-kissing buddies haven't realized is the fact that most of that right wing crap has become irrelevant to people who have no jobs and or homes. I note the Republicans have provided many people with the opportunity to be jobless and homeless.
We have tent cities springing up across this country and all these idiots can worry about is unwed mothers?
The sad fact is that while Ensign etc. are ignorant uncaring assholes just remember that voters are the ones electing these people. I sure as hell didn't vote for Ensign or Gibbons but some dumb asshole did or they wouldn't be in office. Kudos to our highly educated electorate. Bah!
