Okeydokey, after a quick, ahem, gleaning of the Chrissy Mazzeo complaint against Jim Gibbons for trying to "rape" her...
The complaint claims that there's a Metro cop named Ortega (P#6747) who told Mazzeo on the dark and stormy night in question that "Chrissy, we believe you. There is is so much evidence. We got the tapes, we believe you."
The tapes, remember, were first said not to exist, only to mysteriously show up later with a drunken raping Gibbons nowhere to be seen.
"Officer Ortega was never heard from again," the complaint says.
So the gist basically is that there was a colossal cover-up that was part of a vast Rogich-wing conspiracy. Which of course all sounds perfectly plausible and seems to fit in with everything that everybody knows about Gibbons and Rogich.
Guess the next fun thing will be to hear what Ortega the mystery cop has to say.
Meantime, it's just nice to have Gibbons back in the headlines, no?
'Monger must be doing the happy dance.

...Politics aside, after reading the complaint we have to say....We got a NUT for governor...I hope there is 9 women on the jury like the O.J. trial.
...Poor Chrissy was such a political football and has been kicked around exactly two years to the day. No wonder she escaped this rat hole of a city for her own well being.
...If this complaint speaks the truth, it explains the behavior of our nit wit governor since he took office.
...If this complaint speaks the truth God Bless you Lady and enjoy your new home because you have been trashed by the media and right wing here in Las Vegas and I hope you win a huge settlement to take care of
yourself and daughter in the future..
..This is a true horror story and some big people got away and hopefully justice will be served to those responsible for these crimes. Can you say conspiracy...??
..The Great Khan wishes the Kossack Good Luck on his duty to right these wrongs..

I can understand the RJ and Las Vegas Sun's lame stories on this, but Gleaner disappoints. Is this a family blog? No one has repeated the money quote:
"Gibbons said, 'I'm not going to fuck you. I'm going to rape you."
