This is all over everyone's internets. And deservedly so. Please note the subject-appropriate hand gesture at the top of the clip.
Sen. Craig's fellow champion of traditional family values and long-time ideological kindred spirit, Nevada Sen. John Ensign, was not immediately available for comment.
That is like Jim Gibbons giving a speech about friends not letting friends drive drunk or the value of marital fidelity.

Speaking of jerk-offs, Gibbons gave an interview to channel 8, and they just showed a clip in which he says that "as the Governor of an entertainment state," he's been going to rodeos and nightclubs to keep tabs on the state economy.
Well, thats better than the "lonely guy" story he gave yesterday. But it sort of skips over the question about why he needs to go with women married to other men when he takes his revenue projections.

No, he didn't. Gibbons now claims he was photographed in a parking lot outside the rodeo holding a woman not his wife, because, and I can't believe I just read this, he thought she was having a heart attack.
So we know now that if he goes to nightclubs to party, its to check on the economy. And if he gets to second in the parking lot, its to ensure proper health care is being delivered to a constituent.
Words fail me.

Gibbons behavior and excuses are perfectly in line with Bush Administration/ Conservative realism. The problem is, Gibbons can't pull it off.
"We're going to Iraq because the 9-11 attackers were mostly Saudis and bin Ladin works out of Afghanistan."
"We're helping seniors by allowing the Pharmacuetical companies to charge their own prices."
"I went to Tao because Nevada is the entertainment state and Tao is a legal club." (Anyone else thinking he laying the groundwork to explain going to brothels?)
"I have to be Governor 24 hours a day, therefore anything I do is okay, 'cause it's the Governor doing it, not me." (okay, my quote)
Gibbons cannot fathom that he's NOT IN DC anymore, he's in the real world! He cannot pull off what the cool kids in DC pull off. The cool kids can get away with wearing crocs and telling outrageious lies, but Gibbons just looks like a an ass.
But, c'mon the cool kids are doing it and Gibbons is desperately copying them in every situation, why isn't it working????
