Nevada's governor, the nation's worst, can hunker down in a bunker and refuse to listen to anyone, let alone consider something anyone might have to say. He can gleefully gratify his simplistic and naive ideological obsessions by doing nothing to stop the state's institutions and infrastructure from slipping further and further into disarray and decay that will only be much, much more expensive to fix the longer they are ignored. As the state's economy struggles, he can be counted on to respond with a staggeringly conspicuous absence — not only of a plan to try to help the economy recover, but of even any indication that such a plan is necessary or desirable. He can humiliate himself and shame the state repeatedly and often. He can bungle all the decisions, take all the bribes, peddle all the influence, appoint all the cronies, have all the affairs, tell all the lies and slam all the women up against all the walls of all the parking garages and tell them to put out or else that he wants.
But if he violates his "no new taxes" pledge that's a deal breaker.
Well, at least we know what really matters to Chuck Muth! Women and lobbyists and immigrants might want to be nervous around him, because apparently, they are fair game for anything.

Will Barack Throw Mama From the Train?
By Larry Johnson
I now have it from four sources (three who are close to senior Republicans) that there is video dynamite–Michelle Obama railing against “whitey” at Jeremiah Wright’s church. Republicans may have a lousy record when it comes to the economy and the management of the war in Iraq, but they are hell on wheels when it comes to opposition research. Someone took the chance and started reviewing the recordings from services at Jeremiah Wright’s United Church of Christ. Holy smoke!! I am told there is a clip that is being held for the fall to drop at the appropriate time. The last thing Barack and Michelle need is a new clip that raises further questions about her judgment and temperament.

Everytime I see that picture I think to myself "How could a cocktail waitress say no to that."

anon 1:53....if such a video clip existed, and I'm not saying it doesn't, and if "they" found it then "we" can find it, but how come Hillary doesn't drop it and if not why not and why not today? Why wait till the Fall, let the fall, if any, be today.

....back to Hugh's thoughts.
Muth, to his credit, also went after, and added color commentary to the controversy surrounding Bruce James the chairman of SAGE (Suddenly Attacking Girls in Evening).
Muth slaps his head and beats his chest asking why the dolt of a Governor would appoint someone that was, just like him, alleged to have attacked a female after dinner/drinks.

The state of Minnesota is paying lawsuits from the collasped bridge of $38 million.
That's the result of that state's governor and his Grover Norquist wet dream.
That opens the flood gates to the next round of lawsuits. Possibly lawsuits against the state of Nevada.
Very soon states won't be able to get liability insurance. Leaving them vulnerable to those lawsuits.
So Jimbo can do the Grover all he wants. When the shit hits the fan, he's gonna look like the asshole he really is.

Ohmagod! Reno is doomed. First, Heir gubber moves there; then the earthquakes; Myrna turns out to look nothing like her logo; and now this. This must be the Book of Revelations coming true.

"Forget the cocktail waitress, the divorce and other tabloid transgressions.” Forget??? Muth’s statements seem misogynistic and trite. I can’t believe so many men in the valley feel the need for political bromance with this dude.

Coyoteman;
I listened, until I could take no more, to Norquist on some tv show today. He was aked what should govt spend money on. Answer: National Defense and Cops. That's it. Any asswipe that crazy needs all the protection he can get. He is too stupid, too niave and far too uneducated to be asked to address public policy. Another blog put it succinctly; when it comes to weeding out the waste and fraud the repukes have no idea where any is, it just exists. Kinda like WMDs....if you wish hard enough and believe long enough....

The desperation is oozing. Please, Obama, don't pick that bitter woman as yer veep!!

shootme:
But Grover Norquist's "bathtub government" is their battle cry.
That's why Republicans can't govern. They steal the money and run just like their corporate masters.
Yes they are corporate masters. Republicans have sold their souls for a few pieces of silver.

Good heavens -- how could any sane, thinking person ever vote for this moron Gibbons?
Please, Nevada voters -- wake up in 2010! (In fact, wake up this year, too!)
