No presidential debate at which one of the moderators is NBC's Tim Russert would be complete without a pained, awkward and gratuitous exchange between the candidates and the fat-assed white man about race.
Tuesday's performance in Cleveland was no exception (NYT transcript/video). As was the case following the Democratic debate in Las Vegas in January, Russert's questioning and the candidates' responses are translated below as a public service:
Russert: Senator Obama, you're black. Louis Farrakhan is black. Please repeat after me: All the blacks hate all the Jews.
Obama: No, Tim.
Russert: Please?
Obama: No, Tim.
Russert: Don't you agree that this will be much better television if I put the words "Judaism" and "gutter religion" in the same sentence?
Obama: Hard to say, Tim.
Russert: Louis Farrakhan, Moammar Qaddafi and your pastor walk into a bar. Doesn't that prove that you hate all the Jews?
Obama: Actually Tim, I like Jewish people.
Clinton: I just think it's very important to add that I like them more.
Timeh or as I call him "the big giant talking head".
Lawrence Spivak is rolling in his grave!
Another high paid pandering pundit who's wrong 85% of the time.
Would you pay me to be wrong 85% of the time?
HELL NO!
So why is "big giant talking head" being paid scandalous money to make wrong predictions?

Trash journalism at its worst. For a while I thought I was watching Coulter on Fox.
Obama kept his cool. HRC was snarky with flashes of temper. Not presidential material now or ever.

Comeon CoyoteMan, we have paid Bush and everyone in his administration for over 7 years and they are wrong more than 85% of the time.
Look at our own Governor PervMcWanker, we pay him and he is wrong at least 85% of the time.

Texex, I can name only 42 presidents who have been known to be snarky with occasional flashes of temper. It would be 43, but I don't want to count Cleveland twice. If you or I had to be exposed to Tim Russert for that long, we wouldn't be snarky or temperamental. We'd be either insane or under arrest for assault.

MG, I'll have to take your word for it since I wasn't around when Cleveland was pres. heh heh heh...
Nonetheless Obama was cool throughout it all. I'd rather have someone in the oval office that can't be taunted by the biggest ass in the MSM (or smallest as the case may be). Obama passed; HRC failed.

Gosh, gee, thanks Gleaner.
Russert gets over-the-top emotional, all red in the face, and verbally abuses Clinton, brandishes a paper at her, pratically yells at her, gives her (not Obama) a "gotcha" question about naming Putin's Russian successor, and THEN gives Obama (finally) one aggresive question, and you and the Obama supporters go ape-shit.
Poor, poor Sen. Obama!! Sniff, sniff!
Please, everyone, don't be so cruel to Mr. Obama -- after all, he's untested!! That's not fair! Why can't everyone just let him alone and let him be "presidential"?
I sure hope that the bad, bad John McCain isn't as much a meanie to poor little Barack.

I see the Borg are progressing right on schedule through the five stages of grieving:
1. Denial -- "Yeah, Obama's won 24 states, but none of them count. Except for maybe Illinois."
2. Anger -- "Obama sucks. You all suck for following this guy. The Republicans will kill you in November."
3. Bargaining -- "Ok, Hillary might lose. She'd make a great VP, don't you think?"
4. Depression -- "Leave me the hell alone. I need ice cream."
5. Acceptance -- "What the hell. Give me an Obama bumper sticker. This might be fun."
To our Borg friends: I'll keep a few dozen Obama stickers in the drawer for when you reach stage 5. As a former Edwards fan, let me tell ya... it's lots and lotsa fun when you finally chug the Obama Kool-Aid.

Tim (BURP!), living proof you can't make a man out of a mouse, Russert is an indictment of America's news (BURP!) media.

If Sam had been the person being "interviewed" by Tim (BURP!) Russert..
Sam would have chose him off.
