- Jon Porter's new ad is exceptionally nervy, in that he accuses Tessa Hafen of supporting the same immigration bill that is supported by ... Jon Porter. At least he said he supported it a while back, but given this new ad, maybe he's changed his position on immigration reform yet again, which would mark about the fourth or fifth time. We can understand how Rubber Stamp Jonny could be confused. It's so hard to be on message like a good little go-along get-along Republican when all the grown-up Republicans disagree among themselves. You can watch the ad over at Ralston's blog thingy. Hafen put out a statement documenting Porter's flaming flip-floppery.
- For much more enlightening and entertaining video fare, check out the UNLV Dems' exclusive footage of Porter and Rep. Jim Gibbons during their college years.
- Two generals and a colonel (all retired) call for Rumsfeld's head. Darned liberals. Post
- Still more video -- Jack Carter has a web ad on Cheney's secret energy policy, in which Carter mistakenly lowballs just how long this crap has been going on. Also, lots of Jimmy in the coming days (Carter page, events column at right).
- Jim Gibbons is wrapping up his failed and obscure congressional career. Finally, post office signage will be safe. NVDems
Those UNLV kids did a great job!

Carter runs an ad against Dick Cheney...does anyone besides me see the weakness in that?
